Foundation and Dell Redefine How Businesses Approach Environmental Leadership

Integrated corporate philanthropy leader becomes founding partner of Dell's "Plant a Forest for Me" program

SAN FRANCISCO - Sept. 26, 2007 - Foundation, the global leader in integrating philanthropy and business, today announced it is joining with Dell Inc. to redefine the way businesses approach environmental leadership. As a founding member of Dell's "Plant a Forest for Me" program, the Foundation is joining forces with other worldwide business leaders including ABN AMRO, AMD, and WellPoint to share best practices and facilitate the planting of millions of trees in sustainably managed reforestation projects.

Dell launched "Plant a Tree for Me" in January 2007 to provide consumers the opportunity to offset the CO2 emissions related to the use of their computer equipment. The company partners with The Conservation Fund and, non-profit organizations that plant trees in sustainably managed reforestation projects.
