ADTRAN Leverages the AppExchange to Align Marketing and Sales Initiatives

 

Survey Administration


Challenge 
ADTRAN was using a number of survey applications that required data manipulation in Excel—a cumbersome process prone to error.

Solution
Clicktools for AppExchange enables salesforce.com customers to create and update Salesforce information with custom forms, surveys, and landing pages.

Result
As response data automatically updates contact information, ADTRAN can send out targeted emails through the campaigns tab in Salesforce.  Also, ADTRAN’s marketing team can now view survey data from a centralized location.

 

Email Marketing


Challenge
ADTRAN needed an efficient mass email tool that would integrate seamlessly with its Salesforce instance.

Solution
Vertical Response allows companies to create custom mailing lists of any size, to design professional sales and marketing campaigns, and to track post-launch statistics through Salesforce.

Result
Information related to email bounces and opt-outs is now automatically updated in Salesforce, improving the effectiveness of email blasts. Through Vertical Response, ADTRAN has reduced the time spent managing email campaigns by 15 percent.


Contact Updates


Challenge
ADTRAN’s reseller-dedicated sales team reaches out to a large number of customers on a monthly basis.  As a result, updating contact information can be a time-consuming process.

Solution
Mass Update Contract Address, which uses AJAX, allows users to copy an account address to one or many related contact records.

Result
ADTRAN reps now have more time to close business deals instead of performing administrative tasks.
