Gateway Builds Custom Applications & Increases Collaboration with the AppExchange

 

Customer Feedback


Challenge
Sales Operations needed an easy system to poll and track its top 100 customers through Salesforce.

Solution 
Gateway customized the Advanced Call Scripting application so that sales associates could capture survey data over the phone while making sales calls. 

Result
Using the application, salespeople can input customer feedback and survey data directly into Salesforce.  Information can now be analyzed by the operations team through customized reports.


Contract Management


Challenge
The Gateway sales team needed better visibility into the contract management process.  Prior to using this app, contracts were only shared in one-off situations.

Solution
Using add-ons and components, Gateway was able to create several custom related lists off the contract object so that salespeople could easily view relevant contract information.

Result
Sales contracts are now in Salesforce- this saves both the sales and business proposal teams several hours per week in research time.

Case Management


Challenge
On a daily basis, Gateway receives 50 to 80 cases.  Prior to Salesforce, these were managed over email making for a highly inefficient process.

Solution
Using custom-built dependencies, Gateway created an easily searchable catalogue of case solutions.

Result
Reps dedicated to this team can now easily search for common case solutions.  This has significantly reduced case response time and improved overall customer satisfaction.
