Pete Fife, business analyst for Mirapoint, regularly visits the AppExchange to read reviews
or search for new applications. He’s installed apps for email marketing, project management,
document creation and event management. Fife uses the Force.com Builder to modify apps as necessary
to meet Mirapoint’s specific needs.

When Mirapoint’s marketing group needed an easy-to-use tool for
sending mass emails to its client base and measuring the results, Fife found VerticalResponse for
AppExchange.
The tool provides self-service email and direct mail solutions. Users can create custom mailing lists of any size, design professional sales and marketing campaigns, and easily track post-launch statistics – all from within Salesforce.
The Mirapoint marketing team was able to get up and running with the product in weeks and can now create campaigns and track their effectiveness all through Salesforce. “It’s really done the job,” says Fife.

Fife found Project & Issue Management, available for free from Salesforce Labs on the AppExchange. The tool gives organizations a simple framework for prioritizing and managing the logistics of projects and the resources allocated to them.

through email. The company wanted a solution that would provide integration with Salesforce but
enable printing of records in a clean view for filing purposes.

The tool enables users to create Word documents and Excel spreadsheets, or fill in PDF forms, with fields from multiple objects, and supports batches of documents ranging from simple mail merge letters and labels to more complex projects. Merge-to-Excel allows precise mapping of Salesforce fields to individual worksheet cells for quotes and reporting.
