Services Project Manager


Challenge 
Engineering tracked the time it was spending on projects through separate applications.  This made it difficult to track resource consumption against opportunities.

Ryder needed real-time ability to attach Dun & Bradstreet information to lead and account records as they were created by the global field organization.

Solution
Diamond Data allows Ryder to cleanse, deduplicate, and enrich lead, contact and account records.

Result
Ryder employees can attach data to new accounts in real-time as well as attach child accounts to parents through company IDs.  Diamond Data has enabled salespeople to have a global view of their accounts.

Challenge
Matching activities to invoices & POs was a manual process.

Solution
Budgeting & Purchasing ties purchase orders to approvals, vendor contracts & invoices.

Result
Ryder's marketing team can now process invoices against POs and forward accrual information to their accounting department through Salesforce.

Crystal Reports by Business Objects allows users to create advanced exception reports and custom sales and marketing reports by combining data from any table, custom object, or existing Salesforce reports.

Result
Users have saved several hours per month building reports.  Also, adjustments to reports that used to take a significant amount of time can now be easily made on the fly.
