PLAN
Whether you want to list an existing application or build a brand new app from scratch, it’s easy to get started on the AppExchange:
- Sign up to become an AppExchange ISV Partner and get a complete set of services and resources to help you build and market on the AppExchange.
- Find ideas on the
IdeaExchange, a website where
salesforce.com customers submit application ideas and vote for those they want most. You can even
submit ideas to market test your concepts before building apps based on them!
BUILD
Join the Apex Developer Network, salesforce.com’s developer community, and get started building your app using the latest Force.com technologies. As an ADN member, you’ll receive a free Developer Edition account and have access to tools, sample code, and tutorials. You’ll also be able to tap into the world’s largest on-demand developer community.
PUBLISH
When you complete development of your app, the final steps of packaging, creating a listing, and publishing are easy. Salesforce.com will conduct a final review of your app – once you’re approved, your app will be cleared to “go public” on the AppExchange!
GO TO MARKET
Once your app and listing are available on the AppExchange, you can begin marketing your solution as an AppExchange ISV Partner through a variety of marketing programs and benefits that will help you grow your on-demand business and customer base.
