Salesforce.com Rated among Top Three IT Vendors for Customer Satisfaction in 2008.

Independent research company VendorRate shows salesforce.com ranks number one among enterprises with more than 2500 employees.

SAN FRANCISCO - February 5, 2009 - Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), the enterprise cloud computing company, today announced that it has been ranked among the top three IT Vendors for overall customer satisfaction in 2008, according to a recently issued report by VendorRate. The report, which breaks out satisfaction results by company size, states that salesforce.com rated the number one company in customer satisfaction by IT professionals at enterprise companies with more than 2500 employees.

The VendorRate report summarizes customer satisfaction ratings from more than 3,000 technology professionals. Those surveyed rate vendors confidentially on ten specific performance criteria that include customer service, reliability, integrity, budget and effectiveness. In addition to salesforce.com, ChemSW, Informix, Intel, IBM, HP, Amazon, VMware, Apple and Research in Motion were also listed in the top ten for overall customer satisfaction.
