Challenge

  • Endeavor, a nonprofit organization that breaks down barriers that prevent emerging market entrepreneurs from reaching their high impact potential, needed a system to manage its business processes.
  • The organization used Excel spreadsheets to track metrics including entrepreneur goals, volunteer participation level, and jobs created. Endeavor wanted to increase productivity by providing fast access to real-time data to all of its teams across the globe.
  • The organization required a flexible solution that could be easily adapted to fit its unique operational model; managers preferred a system that could be quickly deployed without investing time or money in building infrastructure.

  • With the help of salesforce.com partner Business Endurance Solutions, Endeavor deployed Salesforce CRM Enterprise Edition to more than 100 users worldwide. Business Endurance Solutions also helped migrate data from legacy systems and import it into Salesforce CRM.
  • On the Force.com platform, Endeavor built applications to manage and monitor selection panels, choose entrepreneurs, match volunteers with projects, analyze project performance, and more.
  • Integration with QuickBooks enables 360-degree business views and detailed profitability measurement by project and region.
  • Endeavor management gathers feedback and capture ideas from employees using Salesforce CRM's ideas community  to improve the organization’s data management and implementation of Salesforce CRM.
  • Dashboards provide fast access to real-time business metrics including profitability, jobs created, and more. Weekly reports are automatically sent to organization leaders.
  • Endeavor installed VerticalResponse from AppExchange to provide support for email marketing campaigns; employees can create, send, and track campaigns from within Salesforce CRM.
  • Salesforce CRM and Google Apps keeps business information integrated with Salesforce CRM. Appirio Calendar Sync for Salesforce CRM and Google Apps from the AppExchange keeps calendars and activities in sync and up to date.
