Salesforce.com Foundation’s Product Donation Program assisting vital vaccination programs in Asia.

Challenge

  • IP Foundation (IPF) was lacking a system for managing its customer data.
  • IPF’s vaccination clinic chain, Family Vaccine and Specialty Clinic (FVSC) was not running as smoothly as it should because all patient records were manually created and managed. This was a time consuming process that prevented staff from carrying out vital duties.
  • There was an urgent requirement for IP Foundation staff to easily track important data needed to manage its healthcare program more efficiently.
  • Ultimately, IP Foundation needed to find ways to streamline its vaccination services chain, in order to give health services staff better access to patient records – an essential tool given IP Foundation’s mission to provide sustainable healthcare for the disadvantaged.

Solution

Using donated Salesforce CRM licenses, IP Foundation and its healthcare service arm, Family Vaccine and Specialty Clinics, Inc. (FVSC) have been able to completely streamline their record management and delivery of services with Salesforce.com’s cloud computing applications.

This was made possible by Salesforce.com Foundation’s 1% Product Donation Program. Using Salesforce CRM, FVSC can track patient compliance, analysis of allergic reactions, and other important data needed to manage its healthcare program more efficiently.

“Using Salesforce CRM in our CSR operations allows us to share information with the Philippine Government and multilateral agencies that need 'grass roots' data on the state of Philippine healthcare,”said Marco Y. Santos, President and Chairman of IP Foundation.

"It's amazing to see the benefits of Salesforce.com’s cloud computing model bring positive change to nonprofits around the globe," said Suzanne DiBianca, Executive Director of the Salesforce.com Foundation. "We're proud to play a role in helping organizations like IP Foundation reach their objectives to affect change and save lives."
