Salesforce delivers essential business platform for startup Refunds Direct

Challenge

  • Refunds Direct is a start-up valet loan referral company. As a lead-generation business, they needed quick, cost-effective solutions for their Customer Relationship Management and overall IT business platform.
  • They quickly decided that building their own solution was not an option due to cost and time constraints
  • The other provider they considered, Microsoft, didn’t allow for the customisation they wanted for their specific business, nor did it offer the scope of support that Salesforce provided.
  • Their website – the main source of leads for the business – was still in development and needed to be hosted and seamlessly linked to a robust CRM system.
 

Solution

Sales Cloud

  • Salesforce enables Refunds Direct to manage its web site, customer engagement and tracking as well as its business performance all within the one integrated environment
  • Salesforce provided a web hosting solution that enabled Refunds Direct web site to be set up and hosted within the Salesforce environment
  • Salesforce then seamlessly linked its CRM capability to Refunds Direct’s web based leads distribution portal
  • Salesforce allows Refunds Direct to very simply track leads as they come in and go to lenders for quotes, providing a comprehensive overview of the business very quickly and at a particular point in time.
  • Training has been straightforward and effective, including training a new franchisee in Queensland whereby a Salesforce Strategic Services representative accessed the computer remotely and in real time - franchisees have found Salesforce CRM to be intuitive and easy to understand and use

 

Chatter

  • As they add franchises, Refunds Direct plan to use Chatter for franchisees to keep in contact with each other, creating networks to share successes and discuss issues. “It will be very powerful to keep franchisees close and improve operability, enabling us to very quickly see how the whole business is performing,” Strachan Taylor
 

Results

  • Refunds Direct bought five initial licences, and have already provided a licence and training through Strategic Services, remotely and in real-time, to their first franchisee. As Sales Cloud is scalable, the company is looking to increase their number of licences as business grows.
  • Salesforce has provided a platform for, and now runs, the website, linked through to track and manage leads. Refunds Direct can quickly change aspects of it in real time as required
  • Through Business Check, Refunds Direct break down data to see where customer applications have gone through, providing partners with reports each month
