BMC Software, Forge Strategic Alliance to Deliver Cloud-Based IT Service Management on the Platform

The initial joint offering addresses the overwhelming customer demand for critical service desk function and processes delivered via the cloud.

Standing together on stage at Dreamforce 2009, Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff and BMC chairman and chief executive Bob Beauchamp discussed the new cloud-based service desk offering, designed for customers looking for strong IT-business integration and rapid time-to-value. Leveraging BMC’s industry-leading expertise, the core functionality of BMC Service Desk Express, and the trusted and scalable platform, BMC Service Desk Express on will deliver cloud-enabled service desk, self-service and inventory management capabilities.
