As more and more developers adopt Force.com’s breakthrough cloud computing technologies, new kinds of killer apps are being built every day. The Force.com Forty showcases the best of these apps from our partner community.
Why Enter?
Partner apps selected for the Force.com Forty showcase will:
- Join an elite group recognized for superior innovation and technical execution using Force.com
- Get marketing exposure and customer visibility through salesforce.com events, Web sites, and newsletters, plus the chance for an on-stage demo at Dreamforce 2009
- Gain exclusive access to experts, including industry analysts, VCs, and salesforce.com execs and technologists
How it Works
The Force.com Forty is a year-long program culminating in November at Dreamforce ’09. Nominations will be accepted beginning March 2, 2009, with three selection rounds happening throughout the year.
Semi-finalists will be selected after each deadline and invited to a Demo Day at salesforce.com to present their applications to an expert panel. At the end of each round, top apps will be selected as finalists for the showcase.
After 40 finalist apps are selected for the showcase, top honors will be decided by community voting on the IdeaExchange beginning November 2, with results announced at Dreamforce ’09.

As you can see, the showcase is spread out over more than six months, so if your app is still in the development stage, there’s plenty of time to complete it. If you're working on a great Force.com application, nominate yourself for a chance at some recognition, fame, and fortune!
