Option 1
Earn your Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder credential.

Demonstrate your ability to design, build, and implement custom applications using the declarative customization capabilities of the Force.com platform.

  • Take a short proctored Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder transition exam.
  • Cost: USD 100
  • Retake Cost: USD 50
  • Format: 20 multiple-choice questions
  • Passing Score: 65%
  • Allotted Time: 30 minutes
Option 2

Earn your Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II credential.

Demonstrate your ability to develop custom business logic and interfaces to extend Salesforce using Apex and Visualforce, along with your knowledge of the advanced programmatic capabilities of the Force.com platform, and your ability to develop complex business logic and interfaces.

  • Take a free, short, proctored Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II transition exam.
  • Cost: Free
  • Retake Cost: Free
  • Format: 16 multiple-choice questions
  • Passing Score: 63%
  • Allotted Time: 30 minutes
  • Upon passing, your Advanced Developer credential will be replaced with the new Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II credentials.
