TERMS OF USE

Community Terms

Introduction
These Community terms ("Terms") govern your use of this online salesforce.com Community and describe the proper and prohibited kinds of conduct on the Community. These Terms are not exhaustive, and salesforce.com reserves the right to modify them at any time, effective upon the posting of modified Terms on the Community. By registering as a user or by using the Community, you agree to abide by these Terms as modified from time to time. Any violation of these Terms may result in the suspension or termination of your right to access the Community.

Permissible Uses
Salesforce.com believes that the Community is a valuable place for salesforce.com and customers, developers and partners to exchange information and learn from one another. Like any community, the Community is most valuable when everyone follows certain basic rules and guidelines. These Terms (including the Rules of Conduct below) set forth these rules and guidelines so that you know what is expected of you and what you can expect from other participants when using the Community.

We want the Community to be appropriate, friendly, informative, and fun for all of our users. We want our users to use the Community only to discuss salesforce.com products and services. Discussions about the employees, business or stock of salesforce.com or other companies, the products or services of companies that do not complement a salesforce.com solution, or other similar topics are not appropriate. If everyone follows these Terms (including the Rules of Conduct below), the Community will remain a fun and informative forum for sharing ideas.

Registration
You may be asked to register to participate in the Community. Salesforce.com will handle your registration information in accordance with its Privacy Statement, accessible at http://www.salesforce.com (homepage footer).

When you register, you will also be asked to choose a screen name and supply some additional profile information. Please keep in mind when choosing a screen name and filling out your profile that whenever you post to a message board, your screen name, and a link to your profile and online status, will automatically appear with your post. (Note: Options to hide certain fields are available in your user profile.)

We may refuse to grant you, and you may not use, a screen name (or email address) that is already being used by someone else, impersonates another person, belongs to another person, violates the intellectual property or other rights of any person, is vulgar or otherwise offensive or inappropriate, or that we reject for any other reason at our sole discretion.

In consideration of your use of the Community, you agree that all information provided in your profile is accurate, true, current and complete. Salesforce.com may terminate your account if any of the information provided is found to be inaccurate or incomplete.

Answering Questions
Salesforce.com invites you to respond to questions posted by other users, to the extent you know the answer or can otherwise provide helpful assistance. In addition, salesforce.com employees, partners, affiliates and designated moderators may from time to time provide answers or assistance in response to postings. Please note, however, that while salesforce.com encourages its employees, partners, affiliates and designated moderators to provide accurate and helpful assistance to users, postings by such individuals do not constitute official salesforce.com responses to questions. Salesforce.com is not responsible for any content posted on the Community by any user, whether a salesforce.com employee, partner, affiliate, designated moderator or anyone else.

In addition, the Community is intended only as a way for users to get assistance from other users, and not to get assistance from salesforce.com. Accordingly, the Community is not a substitute for contacting salesforce.com support where appropriate.

Ownership
SFDC does not claim ownership of content you post on the Community. However, with respect to all such content, you grant SFDC a perpetual, nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free, sub-licensable license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, excerpt, attribute, adapt, publicly perform and publicly display such content (in whole or in part) and to incorporate such content into other works in any format or medium now known or later developed.

Links
The Community permits users to post hypertext links to content hosted and maintained by third parties. Although linked sites are not generally reviewed by salesforce.com, links are subject to treatment like any other type of content posted to the Community. You may not include a link in the Community that directs users to any content or information that, if posted directly in the Community, would constitute a violation of these Terms.

Linked sites are not moderated by salesforce.com and are not under salesforce.com's control. You access any linked site at your own risk, and you should use your own judgment before doing so. Salesforce.com's terms and policies do not apply to linked sites, and, therefore, you should review the applicable terms and policies, including the site's privacy and data gathering practices. If you access a linked site and find materials that are in violation of these Terms, you may report the link as described below under Enforcement.

Salesforce.com makes no claim or representation regarding, and accepts no responsibility for, the quality, content, nature or reliability of sites accessible by hyperlink from the Community. The ability to include links is provided only as a convenience to you, and the inclusion of any link by a user of the Community does not imply affiliation, endorsement, or adoption by salesforce.com of the linked site or any content contained therein.

Enforcement
Salesforce.com generally does not pre-screen, verify, edit or moderate the content posted by users in the Community but may do so in its sole discretion, including through designated moderators. Salesforce.com and its agents reserve the right to investigate any violation of these Terms and to take appropriate remedial action. Salesforce.com has absolute discretion to enforce these Terms, including, but not limited to, warning users of violations, disabling or suspending Private Message privileges and/or Community access, deleting, screening or editing any content, or prohibiting any behavior that does not comply with these Terms, or which is otherwise inappropriate, harmful, objectionable or inaccurate. If it is deemed necessary to delete content for violation of these Terms, the entire thread, including the original post and all replies, may be deleted.

Salesforce.com may release information concerning your use of the Community (including posted content, registration information, and network records) when it believes release is appropriate to comply with the law (e.g., pursuant to a subpoena, warrant or court order); to enforce or apply these Terms; to protect salesforce.com's rights or property; to protect against fraudulent, abusive or unlawful use of the Community; or if salesforce.com reasonably believes that a situation involving imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury to any person requires disclosure.

Deliberate attempts by you or someone on your behalf to evade or circumvent the suspension or termination of your rights to use the Community violates these Terms, constitutes an unlawful trespass to salesforce.com's equipment and systems, and may result in legal action.

To report violations of these Terms, please email community-admin@crmsuccess.com. Please include the message board name, the post's subject, the post author's screen name, a link to the post in question and any other applicable information.

Rules of Conduct
By participating in the Community, including the posting of content and sending of Private Messages, you agree that you will not upload, post, or otherwise transmit any content (including text, links, communications, software, images, sounds, data, or other information) that:

1. Is not consistent with the permissible uses outlined by these Terms, including, but not limited to, content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, vulgar, profane, sexually explicit, obscene, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise offensive or objectionable;

2. Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third party;

3. Constitutes advertising or promotion, junk mail, "spamming," chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation (links that connect to commercial websites will not be considered unauthorized solicitations unless the link or the website content appears to be intended as a means of solicitation as determined by salesforce.com in its sole discretion);

4. Contains software viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or any other computer code or files that are designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software or hardware;

5. Provides any non-public information about salesforce.com or any other company or person without the proper authorization to do so (including providing the names or phone numbers of salesforce.com employees or other Community users);

6. Intentionally interferes with the operation of the Community or with a fellow user's message box, including without limitation, mail or "post" bombing, news bombing or other flooding techniques, deliberate attempts to overload the system, broadcast attacks, and attempts to avoid messaging blocking;

7. Impersonates any person or entity, including a salesforce.com employee, or forges any TCP/IP packet header, e-mail header or any part of a message header;

8. Attacks or insults another Community user;

9. Suggests or encourages illegal activity; or

10. Violates any local, state, federal or foreign law, including any U.S. export law, including the Export Administration Act and export regulations maintained by the Department of Commerce.

Additional Guidelines
These guidelines are intended to set the Community's tone and user expectations, in order to improve the Community experience.

1. Do not reveal information that you do not want to make public. Any personal information that you post can be obtained and used by others. Anything you post in the Community, you post at your own risk.

2. You use the Community at your own risk. In any online forum, it is not possible to be sure that other users are who they say they are, know what they say they know, or are affiliated with whom they say they are affiliated.

3. Please refrain from posting where you do not know the answer. Incorrect, misleading or incomplete responses do not help other users. Please feel free to respond to any post where you know the answer. Community users have come to trust that they will get good answers. Please help build and maintain that trust.

4. Salesforce.com employees do not respond to every post. The Community is primarily a place for users to help other users.

5. Be respectful of other users. Some Community users may be new to computing and may not have extensive knowledge regarding computer systems and their use. Belittling or insulting remarks are not conducive to the creation of a supportive online community.

Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
Most of the content posted to the Community and sent in Private Messages is provided by third parties like you. Such third-party content is the sole responsibility of the person originating that content. Salesforce.com does not control and is not responsible for any such third-party content, whether or not salesforce.com or its designated moderators engage in any moderating of such content. You agree to indemnify and hold salesforce.com and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any claim, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you submit, post, transmit or make available through the Community or its Private Message feature, your use of the Community, your violation of these Terms of Use, or your violation of any rights of another.

Salesforce.com does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, usefulness, non-infringement of intellectual property rights, or quality of any content on the Community, regardless of who originated that content (including salesforce.com employees, partners, affiliates or designated moderators). You expressly understand and agree that you bear all risks associated with using or relying on that content. Salesforce.com will not be liable or responsible in any way for any content posted on or linked from the Community or in Private Messages, including any errors or omissions in content, or for any losses or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of or reliance on any content.
