The Principal Consultant is generally the most experienced member of a project team. The Principal will hold end-to-end Project Management responsibilities including scoping, contracts review, knowledge transfer, resource management, budget management, publishing recurring status and budget reports, overseeing the production of deliverables. Many projects will require the hands-on participation of the Principal as a subject matter expert and/or application export.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project plans, issues logs, status reports, and budget reports
  • Coordinate resource requirements on each project
  • Keep other salesforce.com team members apprised of the status of the project
  • Maintain and coordinate communication with the Customer throughout each project
  • Disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery. Provide feedback to engagement managers
  • Submit billable time for projects. Approve billable hours and expenses incurred by other resources on each project
  • Attain or Exceed personal billable utilization target
  • Collaborate with salesforce.com-certified service partners for engagements within the territory
  • Travel regularly (up to 50%) within the territory and occasional travel outside the territory


Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree required, Advanced Degree strongly preferred
  • 2-5 years experience project managing enterprise software deployments
  • 2-5 years experience contributing as a direct resource on enterprise software deployments
  • 2-5 years CRM application experience
  • Business Process Engineering / Re-engineering background, in the areas of sales, marketing, and/or customer support
