Responsibilities:
    The technical Instructor brings expertise and knowledge in delivering salesforce.com technical training to technical customers and partners. Will be responsible for delivering classes on the AppExchange platform, AppExchange Mobile Console and on Data Migration. The technical instructor will be part of an emerging technology education group geared to developing and delivering training on new salesforce.com technologies. This position requires excellent instruction skills, excellent oral and written communication, ability to communicate product features, ability to summarize a broad amount of information into key points, general knowledge of salesforce.com products (or similar applications), fluency with advanced software applications or computer operating systems and motivational skills. This individual is responsible for developing curriculum based on the end user's customization of the application and business needs. The trainer will travel to various customer sites delivering onsite training programs and related courseware.

  • Provide expert guidance to students in a classroom environment on all aspects of using the AppExchange platform to build and customize business applications
  • Provide expert guidance to students in a classroom environment on technologies such as Java, .Net, Web Services, XML, HTML, Javascript, and ASP.NET/JSP
  • Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success
  • Evangelize the AppExchange Platform
  • Deliver salesforce.com workshops to customers and/or partners
  • Participate in or lead instructional design and curriculum development activities
  • Work as an integral part of an overall Project Management Team in the management, development and delivery of customised Training.
  • Develop overall learning strategies that support project goals and measurement criteria
  • Project plan and manage client relationship on stand-alone training engagements
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to develop course specifications and gather course content
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the salesforce.com CRM application both internally as well as to customers & partners


Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Proven experience in delivering technical application training but must be able to understand and communicate business processes and technical features effectively within the context of application usage.
  • Formal Presentation skills and the ability to present ideas effectively (including nonverbal communication and use of visual aids) to individuals or groups in live or virtual class.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Web programming skills in any of J2EE, .Net, XML, PHP, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML etc.
  • Knowledge of SaaS, CRM, databases, web-based systems, desktop publishing and other technical areas a definite advantage
  • Dedication to quality and excellence, with a strong customer service focus

  • Demonstrate ability to learn new technologies & products quickly in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • High level of organization and time management skills

  • Flexible scheduling and willingness to travel (~50- 60%)
  • Fluency in English is required, fluency (written and spoken) in other European languages will be a major advantage, especially German or French.
