Small Business (SMB) makes up 70 percent of the economy and 50 percent of overall IT spending, or $350 billion in untapped potential.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing relationships within our SMB market segment (1-1000 employee based companies) specifically within the Financial Services Sector.
- Managing complex sales-cycles and presenting to C-level executives the value of our enterprise suite of applications
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in salesforce.com, while creating satisfied and referenceable customers
- Demonstrating our product via the Web
Required Skills/Experience:
- 7+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience.
- Experience selling to Financial Institutions preferably other CRM based applications.
- Expertise in understanding the financial issues, processes, and systems involved in running major financial organizations.
- Demonstrable knowledge of key financial processes used in financial consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Must have strong knowledge of financial and accounting software concepts while continuously improving individual Salesforce.com Software product knowledge.
- Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CFO level.
- Consistent earnings of 200K plus in past Account Executive roles while carrying a minimum 1MM quota
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
- Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
- Previous Sales Methodology training preferred
- CRM experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment
- Strong customer references
- Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Bachelor or University Degree required
