We are seeking proven, quota-carrying sales performers to help us grow our loyal North America customer base. As an Enterprise Corporate Sales (ECS) Account Executive you will be part of a sales team focused on expanding the salesforce.com footprint within salesforce.com’s largest and most strategic customer base. You will be teamed up with Field Sales Account Executives as part of a coordinated account team selling approach. Responsibilities include generating new business in existing accounts and in new markets, as well as playing a key role as you drive strategic, enterprise-wide CRM initiatives for companies across all verticals. Responsibilities:
- Managing complex sales-cycles and presenting to C-level executives the value of our enterprise suite of applications
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in salesforce.com, while creating satisfied and referenceable customers
- Demonstrating our product via the Web and presenting our products during face-to-face sales acvitities
Required Skills/Experience:
- Your skill set includes solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement, while building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers. Beyond a passion for sales and 7+ years in software and/or applications sales selling primarily to the VP/CxO level (ideally in a CRM, ERP or B2B company), candidates should possess:
- A background in outbound prospecting and closing of new business
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
- 7-10 years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
- Experience selling business applications is strongly preferred
- Demonstrable knowledge of key ROI and TCO principles used in financial consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CFO level
- Consistent W2 earnings of 150K-220K in past 3 years while carrying a minimum 1MM quota. (strongly preferred.)
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
- Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
- Previous Sales Methodology training preferred
- CRM experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment
- Strong customer references
- Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Bachelor or University Degree required
