Mid Market Account Executive, Salesforce.com Foundation

Description: The Salesforce.com Foundation is committed to and focused on increasing the efficacy of the global social sector. To achieve this goal, we are building a social enterprise to deliver salesforce.com’s world class CRM and technology platform solutions to the nonprofit and higher education markets. We are seeking an experienced, energetic sales and account management performer who is looking to focus their skills to drive the effective use of technology for social benefit. The Mid Market Account Executive is responsible for championing salesforce.com's offerings within targeted non-profit and higher education organizations in a designated East Coast geography. As well, this role is responsible for acquisition of new customers within the assigned geography.

Responsibilities:
  • Development of a sales plan to effectively and efficiently cover the accounts within an assigned geography.
  • Manage lead qualification and conversion from interested non-profit and higher education accounts.
  • Aggressively prospect and generate new contractual relationships with non-profit and higher education accounts.
  • Manage the success, adoption and growth of existing customers.
  • Consulting with and advising large, strategic salesforce.com nonprofit and higher education customers resulting in increased adoption, success and expansion.
  • Travel requirements will be limited (<10%).


Required Skills/Experience:
  • Track record of success (3+ years) in CRM or related business application sales ( non-profit, and or, higher education market experience a plus).
  • Detailed knowledge of and, passion for, SaaS applications (hands on experience with salesforce.com, Force.com and AppExchange offerings preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with web based conferencing tools such as Go-To-Meeting, WebEx, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Bachelors or University Degree required.
