Platform Marketing Program Manager

The person in this role will drive flawless execution and own the “moving parts” of key platform marketing programs initiatives across events, content, web, and membership. He or she will be a key member of the platform marketing team, which is responsible for evangelizing the Force.com platform to a diverse audience that includes developers, IT professionals, and ISVs.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive session content production and approval processes for technical events like Tour de Force, Web 2.0 Expo, and Dreamforce
  • Build and run session speaker training and certification program, help build the pool of certified Force.com technical speakers
  • Manage ongoing developer.force.com communications and membership efforts
  • Coordinate and schedule event sessions and DevZone (lab and demo) staffing
  • Consolidate metrics and reporting, and document processes
  • Work closely with Corporate Marketing on events, web and membership efforts
  • Work closely with Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Training, and Technical Publications to ensure events and outbound efforts are coordinated and effective


Required Skills/Experience:
  • Excellent program and project management skills and experience
  • Experience working on events and event marketing, or equivalent
  • Track record of success building and running programs
