Application Support Analyst

Description: The Business Systems Analyst in the Accounting Systems and Processes group is responsible for managing a dynamic queue of support cases and projects related to back office financial systems with an emphasis on Oracle eBusiness Suite. This role is also responsible for administering all aspects of the Oracle eBusiness solution and related integrations with Salesforce.com, Hyperion, EssBase, Softrax – Revenue Manager, among others.

Our ideal candidate has solid experience administering Oracle Financials. He or she has demonstrated experience in managing support processes and resolving complex and technical cases, with a strong customer focus. The successful candidate also has proven expertise in building efficient business processes, that improve end-user productivity while maintaining appropriate controls within a Sarbanes-Oxley compliant business environment.

Responsibilities:

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in Finance or computer science.
  • 4+ years experience administering and supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite and related integrations, with emphasis on the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Asset, Purchasing and System Administrator Modules.
  • Experience supporting ADI.
  • Ability to use Oracle SQL plus, TOAD to analyze the underlying data in the table.
  • Experience in administering and supporting Hyperian.
  • Familiarity with the Order to Cash business process lifecycle, Sales, CRM and Customer Support business lifecycle including Leads, Opportunities, Quotes, Orders, Contracts, Cases and automated workflow.
  • Familiarity with Accounting and Financial Processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute efficient business processes and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proven ability in relationship management building productive partnerships with customers and IT.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects & tasks and successfully prioritize and deliver results in the face of competing business interests.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of on-demand CRM and platform technologies and their integrations to ERP systems.
  • Ability to articulate and document customer business requirements.
  • Familiarity with Software Release Management principles and methodology.
