We have an opportunity for a Senior Treasury Accountant to work in our Americas accounting group. This role partners with our Treasury Department to prepare related journal entries and analysis as applicable. Our ideal candidate has Big 4 accounting experience and is highly detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with our Treasury team in the set up, documentation, and the disclosure of our FAS133 Hedging management.
  • Prepare the accounting entries to record the monthly mark-to-market and the quarterly settlement entries on the derivative instruments.
  • Analyze our investment portfolio as guided by FAS157 and prepare the relevant footnote disclosure on the 10Q/10K as well as the full Sarbanes Oxley documentation.
  • Prepare the quarterly audit schedules such as the unrealized gain and loss on investments, marketable securities reconciliation and FAS115 impairment schedule.
  • Review all of our cash trades on foreign currencies and ensure the appropriate accounting for these transactions.


Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent, is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally are required.
  • Must have a strong technical accounting background and solid experience in the Sarbanes-Oxley documentation process.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable and preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Big 4 experience is highly desirable for this position.
