The Analyst will play a critical role in the Incentives Strategy and Design group. The selected candidate will have responsibility for identifying and reporting on key indicators of sales performance used in sales effectiveness analysis, incentives design, and cost of sales modeling. Projects will include business planning and ongoing performance measurement. Deliverables take the form of analytic models, scalable reporting infrastructure and fact-based presentations. The successful candidate will possess a passion for creating scalable, repeatable analytics and innovative analysis

Responsibilities:
  • Generate reports from salesforce.com systems to analyze performance and draw actionable recommendations
  • Conduct analysis and develop fact-based recommendations for executives
  • Recommend, manage, and evaluate the success of one-time incentives (e.g. “SPIFFs”)
  • Create and maintain analytical models to evaluate the projected impact of SPIFFs
  • Provide analytical support to the design of incentive and commission structures for existing and new sales roles
  • Develop and oversee the creation of monthly and quarterly reports
  • Create analysis needed to underpin the sales quota setting process
  • Increase productivity by automating reporting and analysis procedures
  • Answers ad hoc field questions relating to quotas and incentives
  • Fulfills ad hoc report requests for sales management
  • Conducts data investigations for compensation adjustments


Required Skills/Experience:
  • 5 or more years of work experience, ideally in Sales Operations or Finance
  • Expertise in data analysis tools such as Excel, Access, SQL, Crystal Reports, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage and manipulate large data sets to produce analysis quickly and efficiently
  • Experience designing and building complex financial models
  • University degree preferably in an analytical discipline such as engineering, computer science, etc.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task while managing deadlines, perform well under pressure, work independently and as a part of a team
  • Experience working with Sales Teams a plus
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus
