Manager, Pricing Strategy

Description: The Pricing Manager is primarily responsible for facilitating the execution of non-standard or complex deals. The candidate will work closely with corporate executives to determine strategic priorities, monitor key metrics, and assist the sales teams in structuring a variety of deals. The Strategic Pricing Manager will also be responsible for developing an Enterprise License Agreement framework that can be distributed globally. Finally, the Strategic Pricing Manager will work closely with the product marketing team to ensure feedback from sales is incorporated into future product development and packaging decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist sales team in developing innovative deal structures
  • Review and approve highly complex deals on behalf of president and CEO
  • Develop frameworks for new deal structures and work with sales enablement team to train sales reps
  • Understand all pricing, contracting or product questions coming from internal customers and provide solid guidance
  • Work on pricing strategy
  • Analyze pricing trends and present results to senior management
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance and contract management teams to quickly close deals


Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Advanced degree a strong preference (i.e. MBA or equivalent experience)
  • Prior Product Marketing experience a plus
  • Superior analytical, communication and organizational skills are critical. This individual must possess a high level of attention to detail and be able to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Able to identify and develop solutions to complex problems from a strategic and operational perspective that may cross departments.
  • Capable of communicating concepts clearly and credibly to multiple audiences including senior management.
