Salesforce.com is currently seeking a Member of Technical Staff, Quality Assurance at our company headquarters location in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:
    Functional manual/automated ("black box") testing of features which includes writing a detailed testing plan and testing cases to cover business use cases. Ensure error handling and boundary conditions work as defined by technical and functional specifications. Utilize object-oriented methodologies to develop automated tests written in Java to streamline testing. Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, HTTPUnit and JUnit (API automation) to write automated tests. Utilize internal defect tracking tool to log and track defects and feature requests in the current release under test. Utilize test case management tools to understand testing status with regard to passed, failed and tests.


Required Skills/Experience:
    Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field (or foreign equivalent), and one (1) year of experience in the job offered, Software Quality Assurance, Software Development, or closely-related occupation. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field (or foreign equivalent), and five (5) years of experience in the job offered Software Quality Assurance, Software Development, or closely-related occupation.


Desired Skills:
    In-depth knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming and automation testing. Experience with Java, SQL, API, Oracle, and JUnit.
