Job Description:
Salesforce.com is looking for a talented developer to join our world-class R&D team. This candidate will be part of a team designing, developing and integrating tools to enable the R&D team to be the most productive and efficient in the industry.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test and implement tools that contribute to the overall efficiency of the R&D organization
- Contribute to the analysis of functional requirements
- Build new software functionality and resolve technical issues of existing software using Java, SQL and Apex in a Cloud Computing environment.
- Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites.
- Evaluate Agile development productivity tools
Required Skills/Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Strong object oriented design skills
- 3+ years software development experience in Java
- Experience with web programming including JSP, servlets, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax and Web 2.0
- Experience with SQL and relational database programming
- Experience building highly scalable systems or applications
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in a distributed development (multi
- site) environment.
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Skills: - Experience with Agile and Advanced Development Methods SCRUM development processes
- Experience with Junit Framework
- Experience with Code Coverage and testing tools like Clover and Selenium
- Experience with Perl and Shell scripts
- Experience building/integrating automation and productivity tools
