Interaction Designer

Description: Help define the future of cloud computing as a member of the salesforce.com User Experience team. Whether it's designing applications for business processes, analytics, mobile/iPhone devices, social networking, or on-demand development tools, you'll find a design challenge that you can get excited about.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive product designs from ideation to implementation
  • Communicate designs through mockups and interactive prototypes
  • Collaborate with other designers, usability analysts and researchers to inform and validate your designs
  • Evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns
  • Thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment


Required Skills/Experience:
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices
  • Working knowledge of design tools such as OmniGraffle, PhotoShop, Fireworks, or Illustrator
  • Ability to generate interactive prototypes using basic HTML, CSS, Javascript or Flex a strong plus


Desired Skills:
  • At least 2 years experience in user interface and interaction design, specific experience with web application design is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or related field or equivalent experience preferred
