London, England - Office Accessibility

Accessibility is fundamental to Salesforce culture. We make our spaces as inclusive as possible, but also know that some of our offices still have some restrictions and limitations.

We want to make sure that visitors, guests and employees are aware of any constraints in our office spaces, as well as highlight some of the accessible provisions that can be expected when visiting us. That way, everyone is empowered to plan their visit and make their time with us easy and enjoyable.

Getting to and from the office

The Transport For London (TFL) offers a wide range of accessible options to navigate to and from SFT London. For information about the TFL’s accessibility features, please use this link: Getting Around London.

Below are the most direct routes to SFT London using the TFL from the four major airports that surround London.

Stansted Airport — Take the Stansted Express. This train is direct from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street Station.

London City Airport -— Using the Dockland Light Railway, take the London Overground or Central Lines to Stratford and then Stratford to Liverpool Street Station.

Gatwick Airport — Take the Thameslink train to London Bridge. Then take the Bus 48/149 from London Bridge direct to Liverpool Street Station.

Heathrow Airport — Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington. At Paddington, transfer to the Bakerloo Line going to Oxford Circus. At Oxford Circus, transfer to the Central or Elizabeth Line and take that to Liverpool Street Station.

It varies greatly from location to location but, generally, public transport is the best option in London. The TFL Journey Planner is a great tool to use for planning out the most preferred method and route based on where you are and where you are going.

The Liverpool Street Station is approximately one minute away from SFT London.

UberWAV is an option on the Uber app which connects disabled travelers with accessible transport. The service provides reliable, on-demand transport for wheelchair users. Learn more about Uber’s commitment to disability support on its Accessibility l Uber page.
NOTE: UberWAV can take around 20 minutes for a car to arrive.

Black Cab — This is the classic London taxi experience that operate on a metered service. All Black Cab vehicles are equipped with accessible features such as ramps, ramp extensions, and additional steps.

Minicabs — These are cabs booked in advance via app, phone, or at an office direct with a licensed minicab company. Each reservation will provide a booking confirmation. Use this link to find a Minicab operator in your area.

National Express Coaches -— Operated through the Victoria Coach Station, coaches service destinations around the UK and Europe. Use this link for more information.
NOTE: Coaches are slower methods of travel compared to cabs and railways.

SFT London does not offer onsite parking but building management is able to make accommodations, if necessary, for people with mobility-related access needs. Contact your host for more details.

In the office

SFT London has five double-decker passenger lifts as well as two goods lifts. All floors are accessible by lift.

Four restrooms feature push-to-open/push-to-assist doors, and are the gender-neutral/accessible restrooms located on the 26th, 33rd, 36th, and 37th floors.

Two parent’s rooms are available in this building. One is located on the 26th floor, and one is located on the 32nd floor.

Six mindfulness rooms are available in this building. They are located on the 26th, 29th, 30th, 31st, 32nd and 33rd floors. Our mindfulness rooms are tech-free, quiet spaces where you can read a book, meditate and be mindful.

The building has one barista bar on the Ohana floor, on Level 36.

The barista bar is open from 09:00 - 16:00.

Snacks are available on every staff floor across in the social lounges (the kitchen).
Note: The ‘Ohana Floor does not have snacks but the team does put out treats occasionally.

Restaurants are located in every direction leaving from SFT within one to two minutes but do require visitors to cross roadways.

Service dogs must be registered with the building in advance prior to arrival to ensure vaccination records are up to date. Employees must submit a Service Animal Badge Request to Employee Success before bringing your animal into the building.

Vendors and customers with a service animal are allowed in and do not need to go through the formal process.

Emotional support animals are not considered service animals by the local government and therefore are not allowed into the building.

Customers and guests should work with their Salesforce host to put adjustments in place prior to their arrival.

Employees and candidates may request an adjustment by submitting a ticket with Employee Success (VPN required).
