Upside Outcomes Delivers Developers' Sidekick for Salesforce.com's AppExchange

Salesforce.com Customers, Subscribers and Partners Can Now Deploy Developers' Sidekick to Complement Their Salesforce Implementations

INVERNESS, Scotland and SAN FRANCISCO — July 5, 2006 — Upside Outcomes Limited, Scotland's leading provider of on-demand marketing decision technology, and salesforce.com [NYSE:CRM] the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced the availability of Developers' Sidekick for salesforce.com's AppExchange. Salesforce.com customers can now deploy Developers' Sidekick with their Salesforce implementations to help speed the development of custom apps and reports. Built on the AppExchange on-demand platform, Developers' Sidekick for AppExchange is immediately available for evaluation and deployment at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange.

Developers' Sidekick is a free application that displays the properties of every object and attribute of a user's salesforce.com schema to provide a handy instant reference for anyone developing custom apps for AppExchange or designing custom reports within Salesforce. It also lets the user display an object's attributes in a copy-enabled window - allowing cut-and-paste directly to a project - with the option to add standard programming punctuation such as brackets, commas and quotes. Developer's Sidekick is designed only to read data from Salesforce, and cannot add, delete or over-write the 'live' source, so there is no danger of accidentally altering or deleting 'live' Salesforce data.

"We created this application to help our development processes," said Darren Ferguson, lead developer at Upside Outcomes. "Impressed by the enthusiasm and co-operative spirit of the salesforce.com community, we decided to make it freely available to all salesforce.com users via the AppExchange. We've committed to releasing our software via the AppExchange, taking advantage of this exciting innovation to deliver solutions worldwide from our base in the heart of the Scottish Highlands at the click of a button."

"Upside Outcomes is taking advantage of the AppExchange as a global distribution channel," said Adam Gross, vice president, developer marketing, salesforce.com. "With Developers' Sidekick, their second application for the AppExchange, Upside Outcomes has delivered an effective utility for on-demand application development that will help developers take advantage of the power of the AppExchange."

Developers' Sidekick for AppExchange is one of more than 250 applications created by salesforce.com, its customers and partners that are now available on the salesforce.com AppExchange, the world's first on-demand application platform. AppExchange provides unprecedented ease of customization and integration for Salesforce deployments, as well as enabling a whole new generation of on-demand applications that go beyond CRM. AppExchange enables all of these on-demand applications to be easily shared, exchanged and installed with one click into a customer's salesforce.com account. AppExchange can be found at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange.
