Totaljobsgroup Recruits Salesforce SFA and AppExchange to Maximize Sales Effectiveness
Leading UK online recruitment company creates more than 5,000 new sales leads every month; integrates Salesforce with Oracle Financials
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — July 5, 2006 — Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced that Totaljobsgroup has recruited salesforce.com to maximize sales effectiveness. Following the implementation of Salesforce SFA, and using the AppExchange Platform and Salesforce Sandbox, this leading UK online recruitment company is creating more than 5,000 new sales leads every month. To take this sales effectiveness to the next level and build a world-class on demand business environment, Totaljobsgroup is also deploying new applications from The AppExchange and trialing new customizations and features in the risk-free Sandbox environment.
Totaljobsgroup is one of the 22,700 companies of all sizes, industries and geographies that is a part of the salesforce.com customer base as of April 30, 2006. Revenue and subscribers will be recognized as the service is delivered.
Commenting on the success of this comprehensive Salesforce program, Andy Weight, Group Client Services Director, Totaljobsgroup, says, "Totaljobsgroup needed an on-demand solution which was easy to integrate, flexible, and cost-effective to run. Salesforce.com has all of the functionality we need, and it is easy to customize without IT input. We looked at Siebel and Oracle CRM, but it was clear there is clear blue water between these solutions and salesforce.com in terms of functionality, ease of use, and market penetration. I would have no hesitation in recommending salesforce.com to any organization looking for a cost-effective, fast, and automated CRM system."
Totaljobsgroup is a subsidiary of the publishing group Reed Elsevier and one of the leading groups of recruitment Web sites in the UK. In fact, one in three of all UK job seekers use Totaljobsgroup.
Salesforce SFA was implemented in six weeks, to create a single, comprehensive view of each Totaljobsgroup customer—the customers in this instance being the organizations employing Totaljobsgroup to source employees. AppExchange Builder complements this best practice on-demand sales management system, allowing the company to perform quick and effective customizations such as the creation of one, comprehensive opportunities, contracts, and billing system. The system has also been integrated with Totaljobsgroup's Oracle Financials back office system using AppExchange API to create a unified order management system. The company is also using the Salesforce Sandbox which allows the team to test new customizations and features, install new AppExchange applications, and test other integrations before deploying them in their live environment.
Salesforce is also at the heart of Totaljobsgroup's marketing strategy, where the Web to Leads functionality is paying dividends. Currently, the company is creating 5,000 leads every month for its sales teams to follow up via the Web to Leads online campaign management. The AppExchange provides Totaljobsgroup's marketing team with solutions that will assist in closed looped marketing to manage campaigns in real time, and track and update responses at the individual marketing component and campaign level. "The great thing about the AppExchange is that we can download an app, trial it, and deploy it. There's no complicated purchase cycle, no programming, and very little integration. We can be productive on a new application extremely quickly," says Weight.
