Jitterbit Open Source Integration Suite Now Available on Salesforce.com's AppExchange

Salesforce.com Customers Can Now Connect and Transform Data Directly with Jitterbit Community Edition

SAN FRANCISCO — July 12, 2006 — Jitterbit, Inc. and salesforce.com [NYSE:CRM], the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, announced that Jitterbit's open source integration suite is now available through salesforce.com's AppExchange and can integrate directly with Salesforce implementations.

With Jitterbit, users and developers can quickly and affordably connect and transform customer data from a variety of data sources and formats into Salesforce. An open source integration solution, Jitterbit addresses the problems of cost and complexity associated with connecting applications, data and partners. Jitterbit Community Edition is immediately available for free download and deployment at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange.

When it comes to integration, customers have had limited options, currently relying on expensive, complex and proprietary solutions that require specialized technical staffing. Jitterbit allows users to integrate their data "out of the box" without any coding expertise. Jitterbit also provides pre-packaged integrations for Salesforce, called "Jitterpaks" that include the basic configurations for getting customer data integrated with Salesforce. Jitterpaks dramatically reduce complexity, cost and implementation time and are available for free download from http://www.jitterbit.com.

"The AppExchange is an ideal platform for businesses to purchase and deploy on-demand services and applications, and Jitterbit helps integrate these services without proprietary software or expensive professional consultants," said Sharam Sasson, president and CEO of Jitterbit. "Just as salesforce.com is changing how companies buy software, Jitterbit will change the economics and complexity of application and data integration."

"We're pleased to welcome Jitterbit as the first open source data integration solution on AppExchange," said Adam Gross, vice president, developer marketing, salesforce.com. "Jitterbit provides an excellent open-source solution for companies who are integrating on-demand solutions with legacy applications and environments."

Jitterbit Community Edition is one of more than 250 applications created by salesforce.com, its customers and partners that are now available on the salesforce.com AppExchange website, the world's first on-demand application platform. AppExchange provides unprecedented ease of customization and integration for Salesforce deployments, as well as enabling a whole new generation of on-demand applications that go beyond CRM. AppExchange enables all of these on-demand applications to be easily shared, exchanged and installed with one click into a salesforce.com customer's account. AppExchange can be found at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange
