Freeman Successfully Deploys Salesforce for 800 Enterprise Users

Salesforce.com AppExchange delivers fast and easy integration with Lawson and other legacy ERP applications

SAN FRANCISCO — August 29, 2006 — Salesforce.com [NYSE: CRM], the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced that Freeman, the leader in producing events that facilitate face-to-face marketing, has successfully deployed Salesforce Enterprise Edition to 800 users. Using the AppExchange on-demand platform, Salesforce SFA, Salesforce Marketing and Salesforce Service & Support were quickly and easily integrated with the company's Lawson financial application and other legacy systems and customized for Freeman's specific sales, marketing and finance needs. Salesforce.com partner MW Advisors implemented the solution for Freeman.

Freeman is one of the 24,800 companies of all sizes, industries and geographies that comprised the salesforce.com customer base as of July 31, 2006. Revenue and subscribers will be recognized as the service is delivered.

"We had an existing, home-grown sales application that had been successful, but wasn't supporting our long-term business growth objectives," said Kim Methe, vice president of sales operations at Freeman. "After evaluating a number of solutions, we chose Salesforce for its ability to easily integrate our various existing applications and its robust reporting. Now we have a flexible system that allows us to view all of our customer data in a single location and better manage our sales pipeline."

In addition to the suite of Salesforce solutions, Freeman deployed third-party applications from the AppExchange directory, including CRMfusion's DemandTools, a high performance suite of tools for AppExchange and Salesforce data manipulation, loading, updating, de-duplicating and duplicate prevention.

"The AppExchange has allowed us to easily increase functionality of our Salesforce deployment. We're busy exploring all the directory applications in anticipation of how we can continue to maximize our success," said Methe.
