Apex enables Bluewolf to become the salesforce.com of media and entertainment

SAN FRANCISCO - January 16, 2007 - Bluewolf and salesforce.com [NYSE: CRM], the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced the availability of MediaTrak for salesforce.com's AppExchange. Bluewolf's MediaTrak allows media and entertainment organizations to instantly deploy a customized version of Salesforce to manage complex relationships and automate insertion order processing, across print, broadcast, and interactive revenue channels. Built using the Apex on-demand platform, and salesforce.com's Winter '07 release, MediaTrak is immediately available for test drive and deployment on the AppExchange directory at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange. It is the sixth application posted by Bluewolf in the AppExchange.

Bluewolf's MediaTrak is the result of their experience with more than 50 Salesforce deployments within the media and entertainment industry, including such organizations as Fox Interactive Media, The Economist, and Rolling Stone Magazine. Specifically, the solution enables media companies to:

  • Manage the complex sales relationships that exist between clients, advertising agencies, and brands
  • Capture and process insertion orders through pre-built screens and workflows
