BusinessWeek Publisher Geoffrey A. Dodge to Join Salesforce.com as Senior Vice President, Media Sales
SAN FRANCISCO - September 4, 2007 - Salesforce.com [NYSE:
CRM], the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced that
Geoffrey A. Dodge, age 47, will be joining the Company on September 17, 2007 as Senior Vice
President, Media Sales. Dodge joins salesforce.com after serving as Senior Vice President and
Publisher of BusinessWeek since 2004, where he was responsible for setting and implementing the
overall sales and marketing strategy for BusinessWeek and its affiliates. At salesforce.com,
he will report to Executive Vice President of Sales, Dave Orrico, and will be responsible for
driving further adoption of salesforce.com's award-winning solutions in the media industry.

As Senior Vice President and Publisher at BusinessWeek, Dodge was responsible for setting and
implementing the overall sales and marketing strategy for BusinessWeek SmallBiz, BusinessWeek
Online, and BusinessWeek T.V. During his tenure, he was honored with the McGraw Hills 2005
Corporate Achievement Award, and named the Most Innovative Consumer Magazine Publisher in 2005 by
B-to-B Magazine. Prior to this position, Dodge served as Associate Publisher of the
publication, where he was responsible for U.S. sales. He joined BusinessWeek from serving as
Publisher of Money Magazine, and prior to that was President and CEO of Media Space Solutions, a
newspaper advertising planning and placement firm.
