CRM], the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced the industry
leaders, visionaries, philanthropists and innovators who will speak at Dreamforce 2007, the largest
on-demand conference of the year. Special guests George Lucas and Cisco chairman and CEO John
Chambers will join salesforce.com chairman and CEO Marc Benioff to speak at the 5th annual
salesforce.com user and developer conference. Additionally, executives from Accenture, Adobe,
Bluewolf, Business Objects, Cisco, Deloitte, Linden Lab, Omniture, WebEx and Workday will deliver
keynotes on collaboration, community and innovation. The Dreamforce Expo will feature the largest
gathering of the SaaS industry under one roof, as more than 180 companies from around the world
will showcase powerful new on-demand business applications. Dreamforce 2007 will be held September
16-19, 2007 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.
The industry's largest on-demand event, Dreamforce 2007 will host more than 7,000 attendees
focused on generating developer, partner and customer success with salesforce.com. Dreamforce
will feature more than 200 breakout sessions and over 300 speakers on the Salesforce Platform and
CRM applications, Apex Code, the AppExchange and more. Attendees will meet with salesforce.com
product teams, hear from expert users at leading companies, get hands-on training, and learn best
practices and strategies for generating on-demand success.
Additionally, Developers@Dreamforce will provide more than 30 practical sessions for
developers, administrators, IT managers, architects, and entrepreneurs looking to take advantage of
the latest Platform-as-a-Service technologies. This conference-within-a-conference will provide
access to all the technologies, tools, and techniques needed to take full advantage of the
Salesforce Platform.
Monday Keynotes
Dreamforce 2007 kicks off Monday, September 17 with exciting new announcements and
demonstrations of the latest on-demand innovations from salesforce.com. Presentations by Mr.
Benioff, chief marketing officer George Hu and executive vice president Parker Harris will showcase
exciting new technology and business initiatives.
Joining Mr. Benioff on stage on Monday afternoon will be John Chambers, Cisco's dynamic
chairman and CEO, who will share his vision of collaboration and outline how organizations need to
adapt for the future. In addition, a panel of visionary leaders, moderated by Nicholas Carr, author
of The Big Switch, will then provide a unique insider's view on how and why enterprises are making
the switch to on demand.
Tuesday Keynote
On Tuesday, September 18th, George Lucas, chairman of The George Lucas Educational
Foundation, will speak on global education and the impact of the information age. Mr. Lucas will
provide his unique insight on how to spur innovation in our schools and communities.
Then, a select group of industry chief executives will share their thoughts on the next
generation of software-as-a-service solutions for both the business and global community. Finally,
Mr. Benioff will host a one on one conversation with Bruce Chizen, CEO, Adobe regarding the future
of collaboration, innovation and the next big thing in the technology industry.
2nd Annual Appy Awards
The Salesforce Platform and the AppExchange have led to unprecedented innovation and success
