Salesforce.com Recognized as Industry Leader Winning Two UK Business Software Satisfaction Awards

Company takes top honors with Best Small Business CRM Software and the Best On-Demand CRM Software awards

London - October 18, 2007 - Salesforce.com [NYSE: CRM], the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced it received two top honors at the Business Software Satisfaction Awards. Salesforce.com won the awards for Best Small Business CRM Software and the Best On-Demand CRM Software awards, beating competition from Microsoft.

Nominated by readers of Sift Media publications such as MyCustomer.com, the Business Software Satisfaction Awards are judged on ease of use, reliability, functionality and value for money.

"What's special about these awards is they are based on the opinions of users," said Ben Heald, CEO of Sift Media. "Salesforce.com's success in these user satisfaction awards is another clear sign that users are embracing the benefits of Software-as-a-Service."

"Salesforce.com is the proven leader in on-demand CRM and we are delighted these awards recognize this," said Woodson Martin, vice president, EMEA marketing, salesforce.com.  "The awards are also a confirmation of how seriously people are taking Software-as-a-Service and the cultural change in buying habits we have seen in recent years."

Salesforce CRM combines ease of use with high user adoption, point-and-click customization, award winning functionality and proven integration to deliver leading CRM applications that enable customers to successfully manage and share marketing, sales and customer service information on-demand. While salesforce.com is best known for its Software-as-a-Service CRM applications, the company recently redefined itself as a multi-application, multi-category company. Last month, salesforce.com introduced the new Force.com on-demand platform, a new way to create and deploy business applications that makes companies and developers successful by letting them focus on what their applications do, rather than the software and infrastructure to run them. By replacing the complexity of software platforms with a complete, scalable service, Force.com provides developers the fastest path to turn ideas into success.
