Company receives a Stevie Award for "Global Sales Team of the Year"

SAN FRANCISCO - January 10, 2008 - Salesforce.com [NYSE: CRM], the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced it has added a Selling Power Sales Excellence Award to its list of accolades, having been honored with a Stevie Award for the 2007 "Global Sales Team of the Year."  The Sales Excellence Awards are an international competition, created by Selling Power magazine and The Stevie Awards organizers, that recognize sales organizations, teams, leaders and representatives for excellence in sales.

"We're excited to receive this Stevie Award from Selling Power, and to have our sales team recognized for their commitment, drive and dedication to serving the growing market for Software-as-Service," said, Jim Steele, president of salesforce.com.  "As users of our own on-demand CRM services, our sales team's firsthand input has not only played an instrumental role in ensuring we deliver the functionality customers want, but has in turn led to the success of our sales organization."

"There were hundreds of candidates and a strong list of finalists in the tough competition for the 2007 Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards," said Gerhard Gschwandtner, publisher of Selling Power.  "We congratulate salesforce.com for its accomplishments in equipping its sales team and creating an environment that fosters success both for itself and for its customers."

The 2007 Selling Power Sales Excellence Award is the second Stevie Award bestowed upon salesforce.com.  The company received a Stevie Award earlier in 2007 in the American Business Awards Best New Product or Service competition, where it was honored for its Salesforce for Google AdWords.
