Hilarie Koplow-McAdams Joins Salesforce.com as Executive Vice President, Global Corporate Sales
SAN FRANCISCO - July 10, 2008 - Salesforce.com [NYSE: CRM],
the market and technology leader in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS),
today announced that technology industry veteran Hilarie Koplow-McAdams has joined the company as
Executive Vice President, Global Corporate Sales. Reporting to Frank van Veenendaal,
President, Global Corporate Sales and North American Operations, Koplow-McAdams will be responsible
for the continued growth and success of the salesforce.com sales organization.

wealth of experience and skills that will help our company continue its tremendous rate of customer

Before joining salesforce.com, Koplow-McAdams was Vice President of Direct Sales for Intuit
Corporation, where she led both the direct sales and supporting organizations.
Responsibilities included driving sales strategies and execution in the small business segment for
Intuit's financial software offerings, focusing on sales innovation and customer satisfaction.
A longtime veteran in the software sales industry, Koplow-McAdams spent 18 years in
enterprise sales with Oracle Corporation. During her tenure there, she held a variety of
sales leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Oracle's North American direct sales
channel organization. Key initiatives included the rapid expansion of Oracle's inside sales
strategy overall with a focus on the SMB space along with key industries. Additionally,
Koplow-McAdams played a key role in the expansion of Oracle corporate sales strategy globally.
