Who Attends
Dreamforce was not just for Salesforce CRM administrators. It’s for every person in your company seeking to use our applications and platform to unlock the innovation in their teams.
More than a third of attendees were business managers and executives from customer-facing departments like sales, marketing, alliances, customer service, support, and field operations. They learned from product experts and fellow customers how to drive more effectiveness, productivity, and visibility with help from salesforce.com.
Another third was from IT, operations, and development organizations. They ranged from hard-core developers to CIOs. And they were united by an understanding that cloud computing, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and software as a service are not just buzzwords: They’re the future of development and enterprise technology.
The remaining third ranged from end users to GMs to C-level executives. They came from nontraditional CRM departments like product management, human resources, and recruiting. Many of our customers, partners, and prospects made the most of our action-packed agenda by bringing multiple team members to divide and conquer.
The types of companies that attended were just as varied—from large enterprises to small startups. From long-time customers to those just implementing Salesforce CRM or Force.com. And from ISVs and system integrators to developer entrepreneurs.
