Dreamforce Is One with the Earth

Salesforce.com pioneered the 1/1/1 model of corporate philanthropy, giving back 1% of employee time, 1% of equity, and 1% of profit to the community. This year, we added a fourth 1—one with the Earth. In partnership with NativeEnergy, we’re purchasing strategic credits to offset the carbon footprint of all our offices, corporate travel, and data centers—which means every customer implementation of Salesforce is now completely carbon neutral.

Our commitment to the environment extends to Dreamforce, which will be held at the Moscone Center, known nationwide as a leader in recycling, energy efficiency, and environmentally friendly design. Our onsite guide and all conference collateral will be printed on recycled paper, and we are purchasing additional credits to offset the overall carbon imprint of the conference.
