Marc Benioff, Chairman and CEO, salesforce.com
Looking to create an information utility that would make traditional enterprise software
technology obsolete, Marc Benioff founded salesforce.com in March 1999. A 25-year veteran of the
software industry, Benioff is now regarded as an “End of Software” pioneer. Under Benioff's
direction, salesforce.com has grown from a groundbreaking idea into a publicly traded company that
is the market and technology leader in on-demand business services. World Economic Forum's Global
Leaders of Tomorrow (class of 2002), Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Week‘s

Prior to founding salesforce.com, Benioff spent 13 years at Oracle, most recently as an SVP
reporting to chairman Larry Ellison, a founding investor of salesforce.com. Before Oracle, Benioff
held positions at Apple Computer and Liberty Software. He received his B.S. in Business
Administration from the University of Southern California in 1986.

John Chambers, Chairman & CEO, Cisco Systems
John Chambers has been lauded worldwide for his visionary strategy, ability to drive a
business, and warm-hearted, straight-talking approach. Chambers joined Cisco in 1991 as SVP of
Worldwide Sales and Operations, and assumed the role of President and CEO in 1995. Since then,
Cisco has grown from $1.2 billion in annual revenues to its current rate of $30 billion. Prior to
Cisco, Chambers spent eight years at Wang Laboratories and six with IBM. He has received numerous
awards, including Investor Magazine’s Best CEO in America award, the Excellence in Corporate
Philanthropy award, the Award for Corporate Excellence from Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice,
the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship, and the Presidential “Ron Brown Award for
Corporate Leadership.” He has spearheaded several key educational efforts and served two American
presidents, most recently as Vice Chairman of the National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC).
He also served on President Bush's Transition Team and Education Committee and previously served on
President Clinton's Trade Policy Committee. Mr. Chambers holds a law degree (‘74) and a BS/BA (‘71)
in business from West Virginia University, and he received his MBA (‘75) from Indiana University.
He is married and has two adult children.

John Ciacchella’s 20-plus year career as a technology advisor combines his considerable
tenure in the consulting arena with eight-plus years of direct industry experience in the
semiconductor and electronics industry, where he held key positions in marketing, R&D, and
manufacturing. He holds two patents in semiconductor processing technology applications. At
Deloitte Consulting, Mr. Ciacchella is a principal in the strategy and operations practice and
leads Deloitte Consulting's technology industry practice.
Mr. Ciacchella holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from the
University of San Francisco, and an MBA in Technology Management from Golden Gate University.
