Dreamforce Europe Registration Terms and Conditions

By registering for Dreamforce Europe you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

General

Registration for Dreamforce Europe is not confirmed until payment has been received in full either by Credit Card payment or for large parties, by bank transfer via invoice. All payments must include UK VAT at 15%. Any invoicing related issues must be notified to the Dreamforce Europe Registration HQ by 28th February 2009. All payments must be made in GBP or Euro. Once payment has been received a tax invoice will be sent to you by email from the Dreamforce Europe Registration HQ.

You will be required to produce official photographic identification (passport, driving license or national ID card) on arrival at the event. Photo ID will also be necessary should you require a replacement badge due to loss. By clicking on the “I Accept” button, therefore accepting these Terms & Conditions, you authorize the events team of salesforce.com to contact you and/or your designated representative regarding your registration to attend Dreamforce Europe and/or relevant event information by telephone, letter or email.

Early Bird Registrations

For all Early Bird registrations, payment must be received by 1 February 2009.

Pricing

Prices shall be as they are published on www.dreamforceeurope.com from and salesforce.com reserves the right to change these prices from time to time in their sole discretion.

Cancellations

Cancellations up to 14 days before the event will be charged an administration fee of £100 or €135 + 15% VAT. Cancellations after this date, as well as ‘no shows’, will be liable for the FULL registration fee, and in which case no refunds will be made.

Should Dreamforce Europe be cancelled for any reason, paid registered delegates will be refunded their registration fees and pre-paid training fees in full. Salesforce.com shall in no way be liable for any other related or consequential expenses including but not limited to travel and accommodation costs incurred by cancellation.

Substitutions

Substitutions can be made at any time leading up to the event, including at onsite registration. Substitutions will not be permitted for day 2 of Dreamforce Europe. Substitutions will not incur any additional charges.

Substitutions between attendees from the same company may be made by notifying by email the name of the original delegate and full details of the substitute registrant to the Dreamforce Europe Registration HQ at . Substitutions will be confirmed by email to the original delegate and the substitute.

Group Registrations

A Group Registration can only be made for a single company, delegates can be located in different countries.

No recourse on Group Registration is allowed - if a company makes a Group Registration and then registers an additional delegate, this will be treated as a separate booking and will not qualify for a discounted rate or move the entire Group Registration into a higher discount bracket.

Where a cancellation is made, an administration fee £100 or €135 + 15% VAT will be made for each paid member of the group that cancels their registration.

In the event that a Group Registration discount has been awarded to a company and that one or more registrations is subsequently cancelled; the overall registration fee may be taken into a lower discount bracket. In such cases, the refunded registration fee will be paid net of the group's revised discount plus cancellation fee.  Should the cancellation of a Group Registration member be made within 14 days of the event no refund will be payable.

Discounts on Group Registration are calculated automatically and are only applied to standard Early Bird and Full Price Delegate registrations.

Age Limit

You must be 18 years of age to attend Dreamforce Europe 2009. Requests for any exceptions to this term must be made in writing to the Dreamforce Europe Registration HQ at registrations@dreamforceeurope.com.

Intellectual property

Materials provided by salesforce.com remain the property, including any rights arising therein and the intellectual property of salesforce.com and its partners (as applicable), who assert their right to worldwide intellectual property rights (including but not limited to) copyright, unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

The recording by any means of any conference sessions at Dreamforce Europe by delegates and/or third parties is strictly prohibited.

You consent to salesforce.com (or its designees who have been specifically employed by salesforce.com to make on-site recordings) recording you by any means including, without limitation, electronic recording, film, videotape, audio tape and photography (the “Recordings”) without compensation of any kind to you. You agree that salesforce.com shall be the copyright owner of the Recordings. You understand that salesforce.com is not obligated to use the Recordings.

To the best of your knowledge, your acts and statements contained in the Recordings will not violate any legal or moral right of any other person or company.

You release salesforce.com from any claims and causes of action you may have now or in the future based upon defamation, invasion of right of privacy, publicity or personality, copyright or trademark infringement and unfair competition in connection with the Recordings and salesforce.com’s use of the Recordings and you agree not to institute any legal action based on any of the grounds set out in these terms.

All the rights granted to salesforce.com by you hereunder are irrevocable and perpetual, and you waive all rights to any equitable relief in connection with herewith.

Force Majeure

In the event that salesforce.com is prevented from carrying out its obligations as a result of any cause beyond its control, such as but not limited to acts of God, war, acts of terrorism, airline flight cancellations, strikes, lock-outs, flood and failure of third parties to deliver goods or services, salesforce.com shall be relieved of its obligations and liabilities for as long as fulfillment is prevented and shall incur no liability in the event that Dreamforce Europe is cancelled as a result of such Force Majeure event.

Data protection

Salesforce.com does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. By registering for Dreamforce Europe you give salesforce.com permission to contact you regarding your attendance at the event and the contact information supplied during registration will only be used to send you relevant event related information. Information you provide during registration may be used by salesforce.com for assessing areas of interest of attending individuals and companies.

Privacy

Salesforce.com’s can be viewed at www.salesforce.com. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you also give your consent to the way we may handle your personal information under that Privacy Statement.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Salesforce.com does not, and nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall act to, exclude or limit salesforce.com’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence, fraud or any other liability which may not by applicable law be excluded or limited.

Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

The Dreamforce Europe conference is hosted by salesforce.com who reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to limit or deny access to the conference to any entity or individual at any time. Salesforce.com’s receipt of an application and/or payment does not constitute acceptance by salesforce.com. Application and payments that are not accepted will be returned.

You must accept these terms and conditions to complete your registration for and attend Dreamforce Europe in London.
