Salesforce.com's Enterprise Edition to Feature Robust Enterprise Application Integration Capabilities From TIBCO

SAN FRANCISCO and PALO ALTO, CA — February 22, 2002 — Salesforce.com, the market leader in online customer relationship management (CRM), today announced a strategic alliance with TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) to provide powerful enterprise integration capabilities for its online CRM solution. Through this alliance, salesforce.com Enterprise Edition customers will be able to use TIBCO's industry-leading Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools to meet their most complex CRM integration requirements by allowing real-time integration of salesforce.com's online CRM solution with back-end enterprise systems and applications.

Salesforce.com's new Enterprise Edition features the Web Service interface, an open application-programming interface (API) and set of tools built around industry standards such as XML. Utilizing TIBCO products, customers will be able to interoperate with this open framework to power the seamless integration of salesforce.com with order entry, inventory, billing, data warehousing, and other enterprise applications in real-time.
