Salesforce.com CTO Named One of InfoWorld's Top Ten Technology Innovators

Dave Moellenhoff Honored Alongside Top Executives from Intel, Oracle, Google, Tibco and Microsoft for Transforming the Enterprise Software Ownership Model through Delivery of Cost-Effective Online Enterprise Applications

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — March 11, 2002 — Salesforce.com, the market leader in online customer relationship management (CRM), announced today that InfoWorld magazine has named salesforce.com chief technology officer Dave Moellenhoff as one of its Top Ten Technology Innovators for 2002. Moellenhoff was honored by InfoWorld's editorial staff for his success in delivering enterprise software as cost-effective online applications. He is the only innovator honored for his achievements in CRM. The editors also singled out salesforce.com, one of only two Internet-exclusive companies included in the issue, as defining ASP success. The InfoWorld Top Ten Technology Innovators awards identify the technology executives who masterminded the enterprise computing technologies that made the biggest impact on business in the past year, and created the products and concepts that are driving IT into the future. In addition to Moellenhoff, the list includes visionaries and executives from Intel, Blackberry, Oracle, Google, Kerberos, Groove Networks, Tibco and Microsoft.

In September 2001, Morgan Stanley identified salesforce.com as the fastest growing CRM company.
