VNU Media Increases Customer Conversion Rates with Salesforce CRM

Cloud computing enables media company to better leverage market opportunities and gain efficiencies

Dublin, 5th February 2009 – Salesforce.com, the enterprise cloud computing company, today announced that Publishing House, VNU Media, is using Salesforce CRM to analyse its customer data to determine where growth opportunities in the advertising market can be found.

VNU Media is one of the 51,800 companies of all sizes, industries and geographies that comprised the salesforce.com customer base as of October 31, 2008. Revenue and subscribers will be recognized as the service is delivered.

VNU Media is the market leader in the recruitment sector covering titles like Intermediair.nl, NationaleVacaturebank.nl and the print edition Intermediair. VNU Media needed a comprehensive sales management system to assist them in increasing their market penetration. By deploying Salesforce CRM, VNU Media can now manage its customer data in a more effective way, benefiting from improved client analysis and segmentation that enables them to identify and focus more specifically on certain target groups.
