Sales Reps Get Helping Hand from Salesforce.com to 'Close that Deal'

Irish sales teams can now benefit from an innovative new feature from salesforce.com’s Sales Cloud called ‘Opportunity Genius’. Opportunity Genius lets companies tap into the collective wisdom of their sales organisations to arm sales representatives with the best practices and the right knowledge to close every deal.

Opportunity Genius looks at all the closed deals across an organisation and finds the deals most like the sales opportunity a rep is currently working. The feature connects salespeople with colleagues who have closed similar deals and can share best practices about what worked well.

"Most customers have hundreds of opportunities inside Salesforce CRM," said Tim Barker, Senior Director of EMEA Product Marketing at salesforce.com. "Genius looks across all the deals in your company and matches fields across them so a salesperson can quickly find deals like theirs, see what presentations helped win that deal, what products were sold together, and who on that sales team to contact to learn more. Genius is completely automated; there's no burden on the salesperson to enter information."

Another feature that works seamlessly with Genius is the Sales Cloud’s Integrated Content Library. The Content Library allows users to create, share, edit and deliver sales and marketing materials with customers and colleagues in real-time – all in the cloud, without downloading documents to your desktop or sending large email attachments.

Today more than ever, sales representatives are under increasing pressure to meet targets. “These new features in the Sales Cloud will help salespeople tap into crucial knowledge that exists internally and could be key to closing that sale,” said Tim Barker, salesforce.com.
