Salesforce.com Foundation helps UKSA Steer a Course to Success
Challenge
UKSA is a registered charity and non-profit making organization which aims to inspire people of all ages to enjoy the benefits of yachting and water sports
The UKSA’s website is the portal through which people make enquiries and book courses. When there were just a handful of enquiries each day, this system was manageable. But when the numbers grew to more than 700, a more efficient system was required
UKSA needed a solution that would enable it to manage leads more effectively and filter general enquiries from lucrative opportunities
Solution
UKSA set up a trial Salesforce account and also made an application to the Salesforce.com Foundation
The Salesforce.com Foundation donated salesforce.com licenses to the UKSA, enabling it to deploy Salesforce throughout the organization
Salesforce enabled UKSA to achieve a consistent, unified approach to sales, marketing and measurement
Results
UKSA has a comprehensive, real-time view of its operations, enabling it to make the right business decisions and accurately estimate future sales
By deploying Salesforce for Google Adwords, UKSA was able to achieve $800,000 of pipeline opportunities, with approximately $600,000 of that figure resulting in closed sales
UKSA is able to manage and measure its Google search engine marketing campaigns directly from within Salesforce and automate the process of managing leads derived from web campaigns
On-demand AppExchange applications have been used to create custom mailing lists and design professional campaigns
