Training Enables IFA Hotels & Resorts to Maximize its Investment in Salesforce

Challenge

  • IFA Hotels Resorts is a mixed use property developer based in Dubai with projects all over the world. It deals with a wide range of clients based in different parts of the world 
  • Although the company was using Salesforce, IFA Hotels Resorts felt it wasn’t getting the best out of the system in terms of data capture, data integrity and general usage
  • The company has various business units and departments - such as Client Account Management and Sales and Marketing, working on sales of residences, leasing residences, fractional ownership, vacation clubs, and so on - but it was hard for all units to share the same relevant information.

Solution

  • Three people from three departments were sent on a Salesforce training course  
  • The course helped them learn how to get the most of Salesforce, including providing training on how to customize the system
  • Those attending the training course helped train all of the company’s users of Salesforce Enterprise Edition on the various features and customization options

Results

  • The training has resulted in a 50% increased usage amongst staff, as a result of them being able to make full use of the customization features  
  • Training has helped remove system duplication and resulted in greater transparency amongst the various business units
  • More than thirty fields have been reduced to ten, which has meant that all the relevant information – such as marketing data and leads - is now on a single page, saving agent’s valuable time
