Partners who develop, extend, customize, package, resell, and deliver Salesforce CRM and Force.com Platform Edition for both vertical and horizontal markets in both mature and emerging markets.
Value-added Resellers are categorized as
- VAR – VARs embed the Salesforce CRM service and combine CRM with their core offering, tailored to the needs of the targeted vertical markets that the VAR serves; these reseller partners require more CRM-like functionality than what is available in Force.com Platform Edition to complete their solution offering.
- Reseller – Resellers resell Salesforce’s standard fully branded services to customers – typically in emerging and developing markets where Salesforce has limited direct sales presence and little brand awareness
- OEM – OEM partners embed Force.com Platform Edition and create new on-demand services, existing largely outside the CRM market.
