Force.com Essentials is a must for application developers who want to create custom Force.com applications or customize existing Salesforce applications. Participants will learn how to use the declarative “clicks not code” capabilities of the Force.com platform to create new applications.

This course is for application developers who want an in-depth understanding of how to use the declarative capabilities of the Force.com platform to create custom applications. This course provides the foundation for developers who need to know how to leverage these capabilities for rapid development and to prepare for learning Visualforce and the Force.com Apex Code programming language.

This course prepares you to take the Force.com Certified Developer exam. The exam is included in the price of the course.
 
Prerequisites

Force.com Essentials is ideal for developers who are new to Salesforce and the Force.com platform. It is recommended, but not required, that participants have some familiarity with Salesforce applications before attending the class.
